Service Technician (Builder Teams)

OVERVIEW

The Builder Team Service Technician is responsible for customer service warranty tasks. This includes both pre-and-post job walks to ensure quality control standards are achieved, delivering materials to installers when needed, and conducting small installations on occasion. The position accomplishes this through a respectful, constructive and energetic style, guided by the objectives and core values of Dillabaugh’s Flooring America.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for customer service warranty
  • Conduct pre and post job walks to ensure quality control standards are achieved
  • Utilize a mobile device on-site to document job information into RFMS
  • Communicate jobsite issues/information/pictures to builder team
  • Deliver materials to installers on job sites if/when needed
  • Do installations on small projects
  • Ensure all punch-list items (finish work) are completed
  • Provide installers with assistance if needed

REQUIREMENTS

  • General construction experience a plus – no experience required – on-the-job training available
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • Ability to use a tablet/iPad and basic software
